Dwarf

This fella was doodled on my phone while re-watching the first Hobbit movie :) I worked on it quite a bit more on the computer, though. Turns out struggling with jetlag does end up with me fiddling around in photoshop quite a bit, so at least there's that! 


The original objective was to check out how crazy can I get with colors on faces before it looks silly, studing how different parts are affected by things like skin's thickness or where the blood shows, etc :)

I need to calibrate my computers screens though - it looks way bluer/coolish on the computer I've worked on, while on the computer I'm submitting this from it's very saturated and warm... sigh!

Color studies

Continuing the idea from my previous post, this time with colors :)



Top two are Grimshaw paintings (I definitely have a thing for this guy's landscapes), bottom two are by T. F. Simon and Kramskoi.
